1. How do I view the comments?
Click on the title of the post. This will open a new page containing just that blog post, the comments (if any), and a comment entry form.
2. Who can leave comments on Life in the Grove?
Anyone may comment, although the first comment you make must be reviewed by the administrator of this blog before it will be publicly displayed. This controls the posting of obvious spam comments.
3. How can I leave a comment?
On the comment entry form, fill in a user name and a valid email address along with your comments. Click the Submit Comment button. If this is your first comment, it will not appear until it is reviewed for spam content. Be patient. The administrators have other things to do besides monitor comment submissions. If you make more comments before your first one is approved, they will not be published until your first comment is approved.
4. Can I comment anonymously?
Yes. Choose a name that is unrelated to your real identity, and use an email address that is likewise anonymous. However, we strongly encourage you to own your comments and avoid anonymity. See Life in the Grove’s guide to weblog comments for more on commenting etiquette.
5. Can I be banned from commenting?
Yes. For Life in the Grove, commenting is a privilege. You may be banned from commenting if your comments are excessively self-promotional, obnoxious, or divisive. There will be no warning, and no appeal.
6. Can I request that someone else get banned from commenting?
Yes. Send an email to weblogadmin at cedargrove.org with the user’s name and links to comments that are ban-worthy. Thanks for your help in keeping Life in the Grove comments as high-quality as possible.
